​Hydro energy is the dominating renewable energy source. In this video I visualize the development from 1965 up until today and how the global hydro energy production has come to four-fold in that time spann.

China and Brazil has dominated the growth in the last few years and now lead the global production ahead of the US, Canada, Russia, Norway and India. The total global production of hydro energy now exceeds 4 000 tWh annually.
