​India and China will most likely be key to the success or failure of our transition to a sustainable future. They’re now jostling for geopolitical power too. China has it’s multinational Belt and Road initiative well under way and in response, Prime Minister Modi of India has announced plans to create a super hub of solar power branching out from his country towards South East Asia in one direction and the Middle East and Africa in the other. A very grand plan indeed. But can it be achieved?
