Consensus on consensus: summary of studies into scientific consensus on climate change

af | 6. maj 2017 | Forskning, Klimamodstand

John Cook is lead author of a 2013 paper confirming that the vast majority of climate scientists agree that humans are causing global warming.

Since its publication Cook et al. 2013 has been persistently attacked, despite the fact that several other studies have found similar results (90-100% agreement of climate scientists). Now the authors of seven of the leading studies into scientific consensus on human-caused global warming have come together to confirm what we know: there is a consensus on the consensus. Humans are causing global warming.

In this video, we discuss how their work has been misrepresented and why the public is largely unaware of the high-level of scientific agreement.
